To Whom It May Concern:

Re: Face to Face Ministries

Centered in Saskatoon, Face to Face Ministries has been conducting youth retreats and presentations both within this diocese and in several other dioceses of Western Canada. They have been doing so since 2003 and have built a solid experience of evangelization that has touched the hearts and lives of many young people. This is done through joyful praise and worship music, through vibrant preaching faithful to the Catholic teaching, through personal testimonies, through prayer ministry, through Eucharist and Eucharistic adoration. They have brought Jesus Christ and his message of love and truth to many young people either strengthening a faith already present or else bringing to a conversion of heart and ways. In doing so, they have built a strong team and a strong community of support for this ministry.

I offer my recommendation and blessing to their ministry. I encourage those interested in availing themselves of the Services of Face-to-Face Ministries to especially prepare well for their coming to your community by seeking a description of the content, format and style of the retreat or presentation and by planning the follow up in terms of your own on-going youth ministry.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact my office.

Sincerely in Christ,

Most Rev. Albert LeGatt
Bishop of Saskatoon

Most Rev. Albert LeGatt is now the Arch Bishop of the Diocese of St. Boniface, MB.

WOW!  In one word I can sum up a Parish Mission with FacetoFace Ministries.

I have worked with Ken and his team a number of times in the last eight years.  However, the last time the team was in Nipawin they really outdid themselves.  From the moment of first stepping into the church and having a well organized team to set up, to spending time in prayer, spiritually preparing themselves, to the inspiring talks gave both the young and old something to chew on for a long time.  The weekend had a very lively pace, including humorous skits, lively songs, inspiring talks and quiet mediation.  I only wish that the team lived in Nipawin so we could have them come more often.

First let me say what a great honor and privilege it was for me to be at the Ignite Camp this year! Face to Face Ministries is one of the most unique evangelization ministries I have ever seen. The energetic delivery and powerful messages kept the youth's hearts hungry for the beauty and truth of God’s Word during the entire week.

This is what makes you unique: the tremendously inspiring and dynamic presentation style of Face to Face Ministries, evenly balanced with time for spiritual enrichment (Mass, prayer, and Adoration) breathes life into the souls of youth who are mired in a culture of death. You rarely see this combination of catechesis and spirituality woven together with such splendor and faithfulness to Church teaching. Ken understands that youth are the future of the Church, and with Face to Face Ministries to guide them, the future looks very bright indeed!

Thank you for this opportunity to endorse Face to Face Ministries! I would love to work with you again in the future. God bless!

The testimony of those who have attended FacetoFace Youth Retreats is that they are spirit-filled, and led by individuals who think with the Church.  The many people who have been strengthened  in their personal relationship with the Lord, and in the knowledge and practice of their faith,  are grateful for this generous service provided by FacetoFace Ministries.

FacetoFace Ministries has been a true blessing and gift to the province of Saskatchewan and the Diocese of Prince Albert under the leadership of Ken Yasinski.  F2F is able to inspire, motivate and renew Catholics of all ages, especially our youth!  Through all the music, talks, skits, small groups and the sacraments offered at a retreat youth/families come to (re)discover their faith in real and practical ways while having a fantastic time.  This has ignited many to return home to their parishes and schools (everyday life) to set other hearts ablaze for Christ.

As a Diocesan Director, F2F has been extremely respectful to our policies, scheduling concerns and they maintain regular communications as invitations for retreats are received from within our diocese.

What I also see F2F doing VERY WELL (what we tend to do very poorly) is Evangelization.  Their events attract many we struggle to reach through our current programming and ministries.  We should follow their lead and welcome what has been ignited.  We need to nurture the renewed faithful within our parishes, schools and homes!

FacetoFace Ministries - thank you for being courageous and daring for the sake of the Kingdom.  Keep up the great work!
